HYTEC-MT with client SINOPEC Changling refinery started a professional project research to resolve the issue of BTX, etc. hrdrocarbon vapour emission and control. HYTEC-MT designed and manufactured 450 Nm3/h vapour recovery system in Dec. 2007 and the VRU was put in operation in Feb. 2008.

The designed emission standard is the concentration of HMHC < 25 g/m3 and the concentration of beneze < 12 mg/m3. On 17th Sep. 2009, the technical department of SINOPEC organized the project appraisal in Changling company, and investigated the vapour recovery system on site. Experts and leaders fully confirmed the advantages of membrane separation technology. The tested emission results were much better than the designed standard, and this membrane separation technology was highly recommended to be applied in SINOPEC subsidiaries.
